B&B LA GRANGE AUX MOINES 
Location: 15 kms west of Tours B&B LA GRANGE AUX MOINES, BERTHENAY
A well restored farmhouse, built with local stone, dating from the
Early 1800's. It stands in a peaceful location beside the Loire and
Has a swimming pool available for guests. The interior is furnished in rustic style with an attractive open fireplace in the dining room.
Most of the well known chateaux of the Loire are within easy reach. The old centre of Tours, with its fascinating Medieval buildings, is also worth a visit. Evening meals 25 Euros including wine and coffee.
NB: Evening meals must be booked in advance and you should aim to arrive by 19:00 if you wish to eat here. Please indicate in Special Instructions if you would like to book the evening meal, or not.

Property: Despite its isolation there were no refreshments available apart from breakfast. There was no guests lounge although the bedroom was small.
There was no local tourist information or advice.
These deficiencies would be easy to correct, and the hosts were very pleasant.

Property: Stayed two nights, dining with the owners and other guests,(English, French and French/Canadian) excellent hospitality. Lovely food.

Property: We hAVE BEEN STAYING HERE FOR ALMOST 20YEARS FOR SHORT STOPS TRAVELLING TO OR FROM THE SOUTH OF FRANCE. It cannot be beaten for price and the fact that we return so often and recommend it to friends - says it all! If you chose to stay you will not be disappointed.
