Property: The reservation arrangements between you and the hotel worked fine although the inabaility to e-mail the hotel was not the best. The room size, facilities, cleanliness was very good and its location is excellent. A very short taxi ride from train station to the hotel and an even shorter walk to the river promenade walks. easy access to town centre centre streets. The proximity of the hotel to the fast train lines was not a problem as the double/triple glazing easily kept out the noise. The proprietor and her staff were very helpful and efficient. The 2 downsides were the breakfast was limited though sufficient-just cereals and cold meats. It was obvious that the hotel proprietor and her staff were heavy smokers.All the common parts, reception and dining room smelt of tobacco smoke and filled ashtrays were in several locations. The bedrooms did not smell of smoke. It was certainly the major adverse point about the hotel.

Property: Very centrally located, but the hotel is well kept and functional.
Hotels Abroad: Helpful descriptions: one gets the impression that the site is being continually improved.
